Soil hardness in surface layer 0 – 5 cm is 0.72 ± 0.01 Mpa (Fig. 2). By the depth of 35 – 40 cm, the hardness is not changed substantially, while the local maximum hardness is observed at a depth of 15 – 20 cm. After a depth of 40 – 45 cm there is a rapid, practical linear, the growth of hardness with depth resulting in the hardness at the depth of 95-100 cm acquires value 3.69 ± 0.09 Mpa. The critical for the growth of plant root systems at 3 Mpa (Medvedev, 2009) is observed at a depth of 55 – 60 cm. This indicates that the soil hardness within the investigated polygon can serve as a significant limiting factor that influences the structure of the herbaceous vegetation. Electric conductivity surface layer of soil is 0.49 ± 0.06 Cm/M. In 6.6% of cases it dominates the value of 2 Dcm/M, which is a marker for the critical level of soil deposition, which is able to limit plant growth (Smagin et al., 2006). Power Forest Podstiki varies from 0 to 4 cm with an average value of 2.23 ± 0.07 cm. The moisture surface layer of soil at the time of the study was 3.58 ± 0.24%. The density of soil surface layer varies widely (from 0.33 to 1.48 g/cm3).<br>In the aggregate structure, the macrounits larger than 10 mm, the proportion of which is 23.46 ± 0.98% (Fig. 3), have the greatest role.
