– Поки неуспішно. Але українські жінки дуже вродливі. Ще вони дуже самостійні.

В Японії багато феміністок. Вони не дозволяють собі прямо показувати: я – жінка. Несе великі сумки, однак не може сказати чоловіку: будь ласка, допоможи. Тому що ваша справа – це ваша справа.

В Японії жінки повинні пристосуватись до системи цінностей чоловіка. І при цьому бути незалежними. Через це їм важкувато. В Україні – навпаки.

Чим живете, крім роботи?

– Сам гуляю по Києву. Люблю спілкуватися з працівниками магазинів. Спостерігати за природою і атмосферою міста.

Ви релігійна людина?

– Я буддист і трохи синтоїст. Коли в Японії – на Новий рік обов'язково йду в синтоїстський храм. Але мій похорон, певно, буде в буддистському. Синтоїзм – це не релігія, а філософія. Це означає поважати природу.

У Києві подобається ходити в православну церкву у Видубицькому монастирі. Вона маленька, але атмосферна. Люблю Софійський собор – за малюнки і фрески.
