Наші співвітчизники неодноразово перемагають та займають призові місця на різнопланових конкурсах та олімпіадах світового масштабу.
Візьмемо до уваги всім відомий співочий конкурс «Євробачення». В останні роки українці дуже гідно представляють свою державу. Починаючи з перемоги Руслани, ми майже постійно знаходимося у першій десятці конкурсантів.
Також, не можна не згадати спортивного життя, а саме всесвітньовідомих боксерів братів Кличко. Вони є гордістю нашої держави, неодноразовими чемпіонами світу. За них вболівають не лише українці, а й жителі інших країн. Але перелічити всі досягнення наших людей неможливо, адже вони є в кожній галузі: літературі, мистецтві, науці, культурі, медицині та безлічі інших.
Я пишаюся тим, що живу саме в Україні, і останнім часом помічаю за собою нестримний патріотизм. Адже як приємно, йдучи по вулиці, зустріти людину у вишитій сорочці (адже новими тенденціями моди є сучасне вбрання з елементами національної вишивки) або ж розмовляючу українською мовою. Взагалі дуже цікаво спостерігати за відродженням нації, адже останнім часом у людей прокидається національна свідомість, якої довгий час нам так бракувало…
Я пишаюся своєю країною, її родючими ґрунтами, традиціями, мелодійними піснями, квітучими ланами і кожною частинкою своєї неосяжної Батьківщини. І хоч зараз багатьох не задовольняють свої умови існування, невідоме почуття змушує людей виїжджати за кордон, шукаючи чужого добра, я маю надію, що наше покоління українців, що народилося в період формування України вже як незалежної держави, і виховувалося на засадах національної свідомості, буде з більшою шаною і повагою ставитися до своєї Батьківщини, докладаючи усіх зусиль для досягнення Україною найвищих висот.
