У 1801 р. з'явилася остання версія прапора, вона стала результатом об'єднання Великобританії з Ірлан¬дією, тоді й було додано хрест святого Патрика. Хрест усе ще на прапорі Британії, хоча тільки Північна Ірландія є частиною Сполученого Королівства.
