Основні методи екологічних досліджень
Методи досліджень сучасної екології є різноманітними:
– статистичний, який дозволяє отримання, обробку та ана­ліз первинних статистичних матеріалів;
– балансовий, що дає можливість зіставляти наявність природних ресурсів з їх використанням;
– порівняльний, що передбачає вивчення об’єктів через порівняння з іншими об’єктами;
– аерокосмічний (космічні знімання), що дозволяє оцінити в динаміці всі процеси, що відбуваються в локальному, регіональному та глобальному масштабах на Землі;
– картографічний, що дозволяє застосовувати географічну карту для опису, аналізу та пізнання явищ.
Крім того, застосовують такі методи, як робочі гіпотези, моделювання процесів, системний підхід, постановка експери­ментів тощо.
Для проведення екологічних досліджень широко використовують порівняно прості методи математичної статистики: обробку варіаційних рядів з визначенням математичного очікування, дисперсії, середнього квадратичного відхилення, отримання інтен­сивних та екстенсивних показників для порівняння тощо.
Також виділяють такі методи, як фізичні; хімічні; біофізичні; біохімічні; радіобіологічні; метеорологічні; кібернетичні; наземний, повітряний та космічний екомоніторинги; аналізу, систематики, прогнозу.
Методична основа сучасної екології включає: системний підхід; натурні спостереження; експеримент; моделювання.
