День Ветеранів присвячено ветеранам усіх війн, що в них брали участь Сполучені Штати. Організації ветеранів проводять паради, а президент традиційно кладе вінок на могилу невідомого солдата на Арлінгтонському Національному цвинтарі, що розташований біля річки Потомак у Вашингтоні, округ Колумбія.
