Although the principles of impartiality and objectivity, as prescribed in the Code of Conduct, the human factor influences the work of MSF. According to several interviews conducted by the author, from personal views tone depends observer reports, interpretation of events in case of ambiguity and the decision to incorporate the records of individual parts. According to personal observations, pro-Russian sentiments in general are not unique only to Russians as a part of SMM, but also observers from the former Soviet Union. Certain personal zhenist forward to the Ukrainian authorities may also have observers with experience in SMM observations during the conflict in the Balkans, mainly because they tend to view events in eastern Ukraine in terms of "the struggle for freedom of the oppressed territories." However, all these factors influence sufficiently neutralized clearly defined rules of the mission and the presence there of pro personnel or neutral position. In general, the overall mood of the team of international observers during the work progressed SMM from neutral to cautiously more pro-Ukrainian, what strongly influenced receive objective information about events in Ukraine.
