CHURCH OF ST. JAN OF DUKLA. 1761-the year the elder Yang of Castano Ilyinsky built their own at the expense of the Bernardine monastery and gave him voêvods′komu the city of Zhitomir. Later the monks own built him a small wooden church and given the name Jan from Dukla. «This was a devout life, last years which he spent in the city of Dukla in eastern Poland. Over time, the old church ceased to meet the needs of the faithful. Bernardincì dismantled it and 1820 year laid down a new one. In 1845, the monks moved to another place in their premises opened the Roman Catholic Theological Seminary. After the second world war, the church organized a Regional Scientific-methodical Center of folk art and the Museum. In the end, through the emergency State building closed in 1971. Church of St. Jan of Dukla was restored in 1997. Now on the façade of the inscription "Ters eì Vopit", which means "peace and Goodness."
